We completed this tile mural back in 2000 at Northville High School, after the opening of the new High School. Billy Olsewski is the craftsman pictured here, and he responsible for this beautiful artwork made up of Pewabic tiles!
Billy-O, as he was endearingly called, worked for Artisan from our first day in March of 1995, until the day he retired in March of 2011. His employee number was 007.
He was one of the original 4 “tile guys” at Artisan.
These types of installations remind us of the craftmanship required to make projects like this a success!
